Russell Colvin

I grew up in a small coal-mining community in rural Alabama. I graduated up from a paper route to working on a cattle farm when I was eleven years old. After high school I started shoeing horses and working as a Blacksmith. Over the past twenty years I have met thousands of people from every walk of life. I have learned a lot about people, Horses and a little about myself.  He Tied It With A Bow is a collection of stories that I have heard or lived. There is also poetry and lessons learned the hard way. When the idea first came too me to write a book I dismissed it as being absurd. I don't have a literary background. I am barely literate! One day while standing in a large chain book store looking at the rows of shelves of books. Books written by preachers, theologians and professors who were well educated, well traveled and articulate. I am none of these things. I again asked why someone like me would write a book. Then came the answer. Every Blood washed, Bible believing Christian can write books from now until Jesus returns and never exhaust the truths in Gods word.
