Lack of access to the mysteries of
voice can make life miserable. Voice is an important
integral part of every human being and some mammalian
creatures. Understanding the anatomy and physiology of
voice in relation to the tongue is a powerful mechanism in
the human system of communication.
The dictionary defines that voice is
produced in the larynx and uttered through the mouth, as a
speech or song. Voice (or vocalization) is the sound
produced by humans and other vertebrates using the lungs
and the vocal folds in the larynx, or voice box. Voice is
not always produced as speech. However, Infants babble and coo;
animals bark, moo, whinny, growl, and meow; and adult
humans laugh.
Voice is an opinion or the right to
express an opinion. Communication becomes impossible at
some level without a voice; man can do much with voice and
little without it. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow quipped “the
human voice is the organ of the soul”. There is nothing more common among men,
no human activity more universal, yet more mysterious and
misunderstood, than voice. Some studies have even validated the
effectiveness of voice on physiological and behavioural
responses of human beings and stress the effect on human
development and socialization.
The president of the United States has
a voice. The prime minister of Israel has it, and the Pope
has it. Christian, Muslim, Hindus, Pagans, children,
adult, Satan and God have it. Even terrorists have a
voice. No matter how diverse the culture, religions and
beliefs of the world may be, voice is one common way
humans embrace to express their opinion. God himself changed the order of the
world in which darkness was prevalent. By His voice
darkness gave way for light without contest. It has been
so from the beginning and will continue to be until the
world will cease. The first man fell from grace at a yield
to the voice of the Serpent this therefore suggests, that
serpent can speak in the earliest plan of creation.
Is voice really powerful, do my uses,
reactions or responses to voice have any impact on my
life? The mysteries which surround the power of voice that
is universally undermined and misappropriated is what
inspired me with the help of the Holy Spirit to write this
book. Let us begin by taking a journey
through the land of doubt, shedding the scepticism and
activating the awesome power of voice every human being
possessed: the power that influenced the earth from
heaven, which caused what was not to be, produced light
and separated the day and the night.
